Technical Accuracy
The FM machine with its process had its own unique challenges as it follows a very different process from the other ice machines.
For example, one of the technical animation challenges was that the water and ice are constantly moving and that the ice is cut into smaller pieces.
In addition, the FM can make flake and nugget ice by using different cutters. Due to the unique process of the FM, we had to simulate the movement of the ice in addition to the liquid simulations, for us it was a fun challenge with a great end result
Inner workings
We used transparent and cut-away views to show the efficient ice-making process due to Hoshizaki’s unique FM auger system. This way Hoshizaki gets the chance to actually show their customers the inner workings.
By showing the internal process and the quality of the materials the confidence in products is increased many times over.
Visualizing it in this way, the customer's concerns or assumptions are quickly gone and they only feel guaranteed that these machines will keep on working optimally with longer product life expectancy, reduced maintenance call-outs, and reduced costs.
